In addition to her expertise and experience in drafting all kinds of corporate, IT and international commerce agreements at the Firm, Rima is sometimes required to put into practice her knowledge in US taxation and mortgage foreclosure process in the United States. In fact, some of her previous experience includes working in 2007 and 2008 at Wayne County Corporation Counsel, in Michigan, on the Mortgage Foreclosure Prevention Program (MFPP) and Nuisance Abatement Program (NAP) where she was in charge of drafting foreclosure settlements and nuisance abatement agreements and assist in the organization of legal awareness campaigns about foreclosure.
Furthermore, Rima is knowledgeable in business management, development and promotion. She participated in various programs for entrepreneurs such as Entreprise Development and Investment Promotion by UNIDO, Cisco Entrepreneur Institute at AMIDEAST, Bader Young Entrepreneurs Program at Berytech and Global Buiness Opportunities by Al Ahli Holding Group. She also took social media and Project Management Professional (PMP) courses.
Rima is an experienced presenter and trainer and is very involved in the community. During her stay in the United States, she was a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar, and gave more than 50 presentations about Lebanon in various U.S. states and in Canada and shared her experience in North America with various nonprofit organizations and schools upon her return to Lebanon in order to promote greater international understanding. She gave several presentations at Cisco Entrepreneur Institute about the options entrepreneurs may adopt in order to protect their businesses. She is requested on a regular basis to speak at conferences targeting youth and NGOs on different topics such as entrepreneurship and management, conflict resolution and mediation. She is a member of Beirut Bar Association since 2013.
