Houssam oversees our litigation practice using more than 20 years of experience to deliver the highest degree of advocacy to every client. While he manages each civil litigation case using his diverse knowledge base, Houssam has extensive experience with commercial law, real estate law, labor law, insurance and reinsurance and white-collar crime.
When an issue has reached the point that litigation is the best or only option, Houssam’s methodical and practical approach to each matter is reassuring and builds confidence that every client’s conflict will be skillfully managed.
Prior to joining Aziz Torbey Law Firm, Houssam learned about public administration and administrative law as an editor at the Lebanese Civil Service Council where he participated in an intensive six-month training about general administration.
He regularly contributes to various local and regional publications on abusive dismissals, penalty clauses, white collar crimes and arbitration clause and appears in the local media to discuss current legal topics. Houssam is also a founding member of Justice Without Limits, a human rights organization that advocates for legal rights of foreign detainees and young adults.
He joined the Beirut Bar Association in 1997.
