Marie has been advising corporate multinationals and SMEs for more than 30 years with a detail driven and nearly scientific approach to the law that lends itself to meticulous solutions and strategies. She regularly advises on the formation, corporate structure, annual regulatory maintenance and day-to-day operations of both local and cross-border businesses. She takes a holistic approach evaluating both the purpose and location of a company as well as the nationality and personal details of the owners to recommend, create and maintain the appropriate business vehicle in the most suited jurisdiction.
As the head of our international commerce practice, she advises our international clients on their businesses in Lebanon and the region. She manages the registration of local branches and representative offices and ensures it stays in compliance with Lebanese tax and company regulations. With decades of experience, she is a powerful advocate to have in a broad range of corporate transactions including those concerning distribution, franchising, commercial representations, service provider, employment and others.
